As more and more of us pay increasing attention to the details of our homes, decoration and interior design are picking up followers as events dedicated to the sector are also on the rise.
Such is the case of Intergift, the gift and decoration fair par excellence that is returning to the capital from September 12th to 16th with original trends for the winter season. An event which, following its successful February 2018 edition, is becoming consolidated as a leader in home and interior design trends.
With a first annual edition that managed to attract more than 1,500 companies from twenty countries, the IFEMA pavilions will once again become an international centre of interior design, furniture and accessories for the home.
Moreover, during the same dates, accessories and jewellery will also be included in Intergift in the IFEMA space with two additional rooms, turning the event into a high-profile multi-sector event.
Interior design and textiles, the protagonists
The five pavilions of this professional fair will host more than 160 products in an edition that once again grants protagonism to haute decoration and textiles.
In pavilion five, one of the novelties of this latest edition joins the home textiles and rugs section; in this same space, the haute decoration sector also exhibits the leading innovations in interior and exterior furniture and lighting. In the pavilion seven, the Deco sector complements the trends for the home with avant-garde interior design concepts and products: artificial plants, candles, household items, bathroom and kitchen items, hammocks, vases, games Christmas games and ornaments, among others.
Presents and crafts
The most diverse range of gifts also take up a large exhibition space in pavilion six: from party and wedding articles to educational games, visitors will find all kinds of unique gadgets suitable for presents.
And since the event could not ignore the Do It Yourself trend that has burst into houses recently, another sector is dedicated both to more traditional crafts and to the designs of the maker phenomenon, which use technology to claim the manual creation of objects.
Lastly, bargain hunters can stop in the fair’s bazaar, a space where they can find seasonal articles at lower prices.
Jewellery and shoes, a multi-sector fair
With the aim of presenting new trends before the Christmas season and of making the most of the presence of designers, interior designers, stylists and trendsetters in Intergift, the IFEMA installations also host MadridJoya and Bisutex on these same dates.
These two showcase the most urban accessories in the exhibition of the latest jewellery trends to prepare for the autumn and winter season.
Hotels near IFEMA
Since all of these fairs are held in IFEMA, the best option for visitors is to stay in a hotel located near the exhibition centre.
